Based on the introduction of children’s play in different historical periods in China, for example, from late Qing Dynasty to the founding of New China; from the founding of New China to the Reform and Opening up and Current situation. This report discusses the characteristics and causes of children’s play in the social and cultural contexts, and the relationship between children’s play and societal factor which influences children’s play.
